The Hideout Bali

Settling down in this eco bamboo house is such a pure bliss 🍃

Built in 2015, The Hideout is not a fancy hotel, but an adventure seeker’s getaway hidden in a Balinese forest.

Guests seeking solitude are sure to find it here, along with a fully equipped kitchen and a scooter that is free to use. Surrounding wildlife is abundant; travelers should be prepared to encounter animals from cats and ducks to frogs and cows.
This house has two floors and includes a cozy living area (with a hanging hammock), big wardrobe, bathroom, and an outdoor shower.
On the second floor is the bedroom with a king size bed (complete with mosquito net).
Bamboo is well-known for its temperature stability and natural ventilation, so guests should note there is no AC.
Looking to tap into your creative side? The Hideout comes complete with books, nine musical instruments (including a quick guide how to play ukulele!), art supplies, board games, and a yoga mat.

The view from the house is focused directly on one of the most sacred places around, called Campuhan; Campuhan is Balinese for a place where two rivers meet. It serves as a source of holy water for ceremonies and cleansing the body and spirit.
The Hideout is in walking distance from a resort where you can enjoy a nice dinner with an unforgettable view of Mount Agung.
You can easily reach many traditional small shops and eateries by bike as well. Guests can go trekking through the rice fields, climb up Mount Agung, go snorkeling or diving, visit the night market and local temples -- the adventures are endless!
